SCALBY STREET, SCARBOROUGH

PROJECT DETAILS:
This project involved injection under an existing home to facilitate the excavation of a new garage.
Our engineer designed a site specific detail for the grout block with care to account for the fragile nature of the building and limestone foundation.
In this case the architect was trying to maximise the space available by carving the grout block back to flush with the external brick work.

CGI SCOPE:
-Onsite testing.
-Supplied engineering design for the project.
-Installed microfine cement to engineers specification.
-Supervised the excavation to maintain safe embedment of the grout block.
-Jackhammered the grout block for clearance to the new block walls.
-Advised on compaction testing and methods.
-After sales support.

TESTIMONIAL:
We have just completed the excavation of an underground garage for a extension/renovation of an existing house in Scarborough. We cannot recommend Chris and his team from Chemical Grout Injection highly enough for the grout injections to the existing house foundations prior to excavation. Chris went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and returned to site prior, during and after excavation to ensure a successful outcome. We place a high value on the quality of tradespeople on our projects, and we are really looking forward to having Chris and his team on our sites in the future.
